Contrology Will Save America - Unisex Hoodie

Joseph Pilates wanted to share his system with as many people as possible.

He wrote to several U.S. Presidents in his lifetime, advocating for his exercise system, Contrology (now known as Pilates). In letters to President Kennedy, he asked the President to consider teaching Contrology in the schools. He explained that his system was not just physical exercise, but that it taps the "inner springs of health," He believed that this would diminish the need for corrective institutions and build the youth for tomorrow, contributing to world peace. 

After not receiving a favorable response, he wrote a follow-up letter stating, "There is a great deal being said about decadence and decline in America paralleling the decline of the Roman Empire. However, they do not say what will save America. CONTROLOGY IS WHAT WILL SAVE AMERICA. For the sake of America, I urge you to investigate CONTROLOGY. Sincerely yours, Joseph H. Pilates."
